GoTW (Guide of Taiwan) is a public transportation information app that provides Taiwan Railway schedules, real-time bus arrival information, and route planning assistance. This page provides instructions for data deletion in accordance with Facebook Platform Policy requirements.

Important Notice

  • GoTW does not use Facebook Login. Our app does not require or integrate Facebook authentication for any core features.
  • No Facebook data is stored on our servers. We do not collect, store, or process any Facebook profile information.
  • If you previously connected GoTW to your Facebook account through other means, you can disconnect it by following the instructions below.

How to Disconnect GoTW from Facebook

If GoTW appears in your Facebook connected apps, you can remove the connection by following these steps:

  1. Go to your Facebook account's Settings & Privacy
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Click on Apps and Websites in the left menu
  4. Look for GoTW or Guide of Taiwan in your apps list
  5. Click on the app name, then click Remove
  6. Confirm the removal when prompted

Note: Removing the app connection from Facebook will immediately revoke any data access permissions. Since GoTW does not store Facebook data on our servers, this action is sufficient to disconnect the integration.

How to Request Data Deletion from GoTW

If you would like to request deletion of any data that GoTW may have collected during your use of the app (unrelated to Facebook), please contact us directly:

  • Email: austronesia.tw@gmail.com
  • Subject: Data Deletion Request
  • Information to include:
    • Your email address or contact information used with the app (if any)
    • Description of the data you would like deleted
    • Any additional details to help us identify your data

Data Deletion Timeframe

  • Facebook App Disconnection: Data access is revoked immediately upon removal from your Facebook Apps and Websites settings.
  • Direct Deletion Requests: We will process your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving your email. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

What Data Does GoTW Collect?

GoTW is primarily a transportation information viewer app. The data we collect is limited and described in our Privacy Policy. In general:

  • Usage data (IP address, device information, app usage patterns) for service improvement
  • Contact information if you voluntarily provide it through surveys or support requests
  • No Facebook profile data or personal identification information from social media

  1. 前往您的 Facebook 帳號的設定和隱私
  2. 點選設定
  3. 點選左側選單中的應用程式和網站
  4. 在應用程式列表中尋找 GoTW 或 Guide of Taiwan
  5. 點選應用程式名稱，然後點選移除
  6. 在提示時確認移除

注意：從 Facebook 移除應用程式連接將立即撤銷所有資料存取權限。由於 GoTW 不在我們的伺服器上儲存 Facebook 資料，此操作即足以中斷整合。
